I love all my Lenovo laptops, but if I had one criticism, it would be that they come preinstalled with McAfee, which is the ultimate nagware. Even worse than just the consistent nagging, it's actually screwed up my workflow countless times because the nag screens will take focus away from all other windows even if you're actively using them.
So my questions are:
Do you uninstall McAfee after the 30-day trial?
Do you just use the standard Windows install or is it better to use the complete removal tool?
Is it safe to just rely on the built-in Windows Security features or do you use other security software as well?
On a side note, I'm surprised they haven't rebranded the name given all the controversy surrounding its founder.
