When I purchase a Lenovo computer, I pay a little extra for the on-site (vs depot) warranty for between three and five years depending on the cost. I have only needed to use the warranty once, around 2009, and the service was excellent. The tech came to my house and the hardware issue was repaired in about an hour.
Does anyone else opt for the on-site warranty (where they come to you vs. you needing the ship the product to them)? Do you have any recent experience with an on-site warranty repair?
