It's official! Starting next week, the Lenovo Pro Community is upgrading! We are bringing the community you love to the next level, full of useful new features and updates.
On the week of August 5th, the community will be read-only access. Log in next week to unbox your new community!
Here’s a sneak peek of what’s improving:
- 🌍 All Pro Communities will now be united into a single, global experience
- United States, Germany, Japan and Australia!
- *There will be translation support for posts and comments.
- 📱 A New and Improved homepage with a curated feed

What’s staying the same:
- 🎁 Rewards & Giveaways: Continue to earn rewards and enter to win special giveaways!
- 📅 Events and Groups: Participate in engaging community events and your favorite groups
- 🏆 Leaderboard*: Keep track your favorite community authors and climb the ranks (*soon to be by week, month and all-time!)

What about my Profile, MyLenovo Rewards, Points, Posts, etc.?
Rest assured; they will seamlessly transfer to the upgraded experience — no need to lift a finger!
When are the next giveaways?
As you know, the July Giveaways are paused until the end of the month while we complete the upgrade. We know, it's been a tough month 😜 but we are making it up to you with extra ways to earn and win after we complete the updates. Did someone say Snapdragon?
How will giveaways work now?
Giveaways will still be region-specific. After signing in, you will automatically see giveaways and special offers open for your region. However, events, conversations and the resource library will be global!
What about other perks for my specific country (US/JP/DE/AU)?
Your region-specific perks will be accessible in a convenient sidebar. Enjoy your same perks while connecting with Pros worldwide!
What about groups?
You will need to rejoin your preferred groups, but we are excited to add new groups after launch based on your feedback!
What about events, forums, tabs, etc.?
Most tabs will move into a convenient sidebar. Forums will merge into groups for a more streamlined experience. Member Marketplace will be sunsetted and TrackPoint Defender will re-release in an updated version this fall!
Will the website URL stay the same?
Our website URL will change from https://smbcommunity.lenovo.com/us/ to: https://smbcommunity.lenovo.com/. This current experience will redirect you to the new one.
What is this “New and Improved Homepage” that you speak of?
Look forward to a personalized feed based on your interests. You can easy search and switch between what's trending, what's latest and what's “For You,” as well as post type (i.e., discussions, videos, images, etc.).
What about badges?
Badges will be overhauled, but the most coveted badges earned by the solemn few will carry over. Expect new seasonal and quarterly badges! However, if you are fond of your current rooster of badges, please take a screenshot to save for later.
What about friends?
We’re replacing the friend system with a simple “Messages” tab. You can still follow other members, turn on notifications, and follow individual content via your new & improved Profile tab!
