Upgraded my Thinkbook 16G P4 BIOS to version LRCN45WW and it broke my fingerprint reader.

Hi all. After updating to the latest BIOS version LRCN45WW, it appears my fingerprint reader no longer works. I deleted it in Control Panel > Device Manager and reinstalled the driver. Still broken. Should I revert to a prior version of the BIOS ?
