T-Mobile will begin retiring 4G LTE in favor of 5G

Coincidentally, I just posted that question asking how many mobile phones you've purchased over the years, and now it seems T-Mobile will begin retiring 4G LTE in favor of 5G. Several other cellular service providers use T-Mobile's communication infrastructure, e.g., Metro by T-Mobile, Mint Mobile, Google Fi, Boost Mobile, Ultra Mobile, and Tello. Luckily, I recently got my first 5G phone.
