One of the new products Lenovo released this year, known as the most sustainable product, is ThinkPad X13s. You might be already aware that this device brings a Smartphone-like experience with outstanding battery life and is the first commercial Windows PC on next-gen Snapdragon with 5G mm Wage. But not only that, this premium device is built with 90% recycled magnesium, 97% PCC recycled plastic in the speaker enclosure, 30% PCC recycled plastic in the standard 65-watt adaptor, and 30% PCC recycled plastic in the 49.5 Wh battery enclosure. Lenovo engineered the industry-first low-temperature solder used in manufacturing for reduced CO2 emissions. ThinkPad X13s will be available in the LenovoPRO store in the coming months!

My favorite Lenovo ergonomic product would have to be the mouse pad with a wrist pillow. As a producer creating various visuals all day, I am constantly using a mouse and this device is a GAME CHANGER. I was experiencing a lot of wrist pain prior to using it and now I’ve noticed a significant difference. The one I personally use is HERE but we offer a variety of options.

I think it’s incredibly important to focus on the health of our backs and necks in today’s modern workplace. Many professionals are seated for long periods of time and crane our necks in unhealthy ways to view computer screens, but this behavior can have serious long-term consequences. Personally, I recently discovered multiple herniated discs in my upper back and have placed renewed focus on keeping myself healthy and pain free, which is why I love that Lenovo offers ergonomic desk chairs in our the store: Link. My favorite ergonomic product: Standing desks! Studies and statistics are continuing to show that sitting for extending periods of time have negative health impacts, decrease your work effectiveness and overall wellbeing. Standing at a work desk is great for blood circulation, posture, productivity and body strength. There are some awesome standing desk options in the LenovoPRO Store. If your workplace doesn’t have standing desks, if you’re not sure if you like it, or if you’re not ready to make the leap for your work-from-home setup, there are other options. Channel your inner Wayne Szalinski (inventor) and test out a standing-desk-feel by getting creative! Be sure to engage your prefrontal cortex before you try anything crazy – safety first folks.

My favourite green Lenovo product would have to be ThinkPad Z laptops! A relatively new addition to the ThinkPad fam only announced this year, the ThinkPad Z13 is made from recycled aluminum and comes with an optional vegan leather cover. I, for one, am very much looking forward to the release of the Z range later this year 😊

My favorite Green product? All Think products from Lenovo! Why? Because they are all environmentally friendly. Because they are designed to be easier to maintain, upgrade, and disassemble at the end of their life. Plus, they're made from recycled materials in factories that run on energy from renewable sources. Lenovo has also streamlined its logistics: this means devices can now be shipped directly to the end customer, reducing transportation emissions, and packaging is also made from sustainable materials. Lenovo products are powerful, but they consume less energy and radiate less heat. And last but not least, they have carbon offsets that allow customers to fully compensate for the environmental impact of their PCs by Lenovo's support of international agencies that include various initiatives around the world, including wind turbines, solar panels and biomass energy.
