I think when a lot of people are looking at getting something started, or taking a small activity more seriously or collaboratively, part of the trepidation can be just figuring out how much and how fast to commit, and basic logistics like where to work and how to communicate. Do you just work from home in the evenings, or do you get a dedicated space? Would you keep the "office" and schedule informal even when bringing in more people? A hybrid approach? Was there a plan at all, and did it work out? What is/was the path?
I hear a lot of people tell some version of a cliché started-in-parent's-garage story with some laughs, and maybe implied problems in addition to the scrappiness. I always want to ask if they would have done things differently a second time.
