  • What was the idea?
  • What happened to bring the idea about?
  • If it was another's idea, why do you like it/remember it?

Please share below and have a good chuckle at some of the craziest ideas in our lives and in the world that ACTUALLY worked!

  • On March 31, 2014 Sage Software discontinued support on a Source code software product.   Since i couldn't sell it anymore - i was the largest dealer in the world for this niche product- i decided the only way i could support my customer was on annual contracts.   Everyone said i was nuts and that customers would not pay for annual support on a product that they had not paid maintenance of support on before.   Todays, 9 years later it is still going strong.   The folks that did not put their customer on a support agreement have faded away as the support and customization revenue dried up.

Having the source code is key to continued support.
