I recently revived my interest in building scale plastic models, particularly of Star Trek and related ships and space stations. My unbuilt collection consists of 37 kits comprised of 43 ships and two stations, including the Yorktown-class aircraft carrier "USS Enterprise (CV-6)", the original NASA space shuttle "Enterprise", and a 4-foot tall Saturn V rocket. This should keep me busy for a few weekends.
I only got back into model building a couple of months ago, and spent most of that time repairing five antique automobiles I built about 30 years ago. However, I do have one model of which I am particularly proud, because it was the first time I used putty to eliminate seams. It came out better than I could have hoped:
