Wired or Wireless

Do you prefer a wired or wireless mouse and keyboard? I prefer wired because I do not want to worry about batteries, but every once in a while the cords start to annoy me.

  • Could I nuance the wireless responses by asking: Bluetooth or USB dongle?

I'm okay with a wired mouse and had used them up until a few years ago. But now I primarily use a wireless mouse for portability. I've found that the USB dongle type usually connects better and provides better response than the Bluetooth, but I do like that the Bluetooth mice tend to be on the slimmer side. So it's a toss up for me which wireless kind I prefer.

  • I have a Logitech MX Master 2 mouse.(gen 3 is the current version) It supports USB dongle and Bluetooth. I have not noticed any response or connection issues with this mouse.

  • I agree with the USB dongle, I have had problems with the Bluetooth, so I only use the ones with USB dongle, right now I am using a Logitech MX Master 2S Rechargeable, that I actually won here probably a year ago, it fits my hand very nice. It looks like the MX Master 3S took its place - Logitech MX Master 3S Performance Wireless Mouse (Black) | Lenovo US

  • I've actually never tried Bluetooth! I must now!! I like the USB option though so far - biggest downside is that it takes a port away.
